Former Washington, D.C., Mayor Marion Barry, who served prison time on a drug charge a decade ago, secured his comeback Tuesday, winning a City Council seat to represent the 8th Ward of Washington D.C. with a 95 percent of the vote.

LL Cool J has canceled the remaining 12 dates on his tour due to an abdominal ailment. A release from his publicist said he is under a doctor's care and requires medication and rest.

The New York Post reports, according to Shar Jackson - Britney Spears is pregnant. Shar's personal fortunes seem to have taken a turn for the better since her ex-boyfriend, Kevin Federline, married Spears. Jackson apparently keeps getting phone calls from Federline. She repeatedly hangs up on him, saying, "Yuck. He is so annoying!" Spears' rep said, "As far as we know, Britney is not pregnant." Stay tuned…
Lil Jon and the Eastside Boyz have signed up to make cameo appearances on the UPN sitcom All of Us. They're scheduled to shoot an episode of the show that will air on November 23.

Mariah Carey is making sure her next album is a big hit by signing up heavyweights like The Neptunes, Jermaine Dupri, Kanye West, R. Kelly and Snoop Dogg to work with her. Producer Dupri was so impressed with one track on the new album, called 'Can I Get Your Number?,' he agreed to duet with Carey.

Gospel crooner Vickie Winans is making history by launching the first online gospel label, Destiny Joy Records. Vickie will serve as CEO of the label, and is currently in talks with newcomer Aaron Fulle, whom she hopes to sign as the venture’s first artist. While Winans will remain on Zomba's Verity label as an artist, she plans to sign several new acts and will begin selling product by the second quarter of 2005.
