MORE FROM RUSSELL: Word is Russell Simmons is re-entering the music business and has been shopping for a deal to create a new label in a partnership with one of the major record corporations. The label is slated to be called "The Russell Simmons Music Group".

Nick Cannon will star in the Marcos Seiga directed flick The UnderClassman. Nick plays a young looking 24-year-old detective, who never gets the respect he deserves because of his boyish looks. He goes undercover in an elite private school where he stumbles upon an international auto-theft ring. The movie is expected to hit theatres on January 7.

TLC FINDS REALITY TV: T Boz and Chili are searching for a new member to join them onstage and record with them in the studio. The show "R U The Girl With T-Boz and Chilli" will document the group's eight-week search to find someone to perform with. No airdate has been set yet for the series.

Miami’s Luther Campbell plans to open up an upscale gentleman’s club called Luke’s Cabaret in different cities across the country. The strip club will target successful and affluent African-American and Latino Males. Luke stated “I want these clubs to represent what the public has come to know about Luke: the best music, the best parties, and the hottest women.” Luke plans to do a world tour to find women who will fit the mold. Luke’s Cabaret will showcase aspects of R&B and hip-hop and the clubs will be patterned after The Hard Rock Café. Look for the first location to pop up in Miami.

RedMan and Method Man will begin shooting the film Undercover D.A.s in early 2005. The two will play two play undercover drug-enforcement agents. How ironic...

Kaiser Family Foundation to bring forth a series of Public Service Announcements as part of the KNOW HIV/AIDS campaign. Everyday 13 African-American women are infected with HIV.
